Yeshiva
A yeshiva is an institution of Jewish learning primarily focusing on study of the Torah and Talmud.
In the spirit of yeshiva-style communal study, Temple Beth Shalom hosts periodic yeshivas on such topics as the nature of good and evil, capitol punishment, and the hero archetype. Our yeshivas include presentations by knowledgeable guest speakers and round table discussions.
The yeshiva is an open forum where all attendees are equal participants as we question and explore biblical, historical, and modern perspectives on age-old questions and how they apply to our daily lives as practicing Jews.
